Six Day Creation

1990-09-22

Nothing left to believe in but my worn gym shoes

Take me anywhere – god's country

But I can't believe in god anymore,

my gym shoes are worn and dirty my feet are tired

I want to settle down but God won't let me.

Your body is warm, but it's tired,

Like the sun burn for a billion years.

I can't touch it It's too far away God won't let me,

but I can look I can watch that's my subversion

F__k all Gods I can't touch you, but you are flesh he's a myth

F__ck all Gods you are warm but you are tired

Your body's warm but dry, your skin like the sand I can only imagine,

your meat like flesh like God, but I can't believe

F__k faith you are warm and dry, smell like sand and, never sweet are God's men

But you must taste like I can't imagine God

You must taste like six-day creation, I can't believe!

My sneakers are tired and wornand you are warm and dry.
